本單元的教學(xué)內(nèi)容是以夢(mèng)想為主要話題,通過(guò)對(duì)職業(yè)的復(fù)習(xí),引入對(duì)新課的講,讓學(xué)生展望未來(lái)、暢談理想,在學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)言知識(shí)的同時(shí),努力幫助學(xué)生形成積極的情感態(tài)度,樹(shù)立將康的人生觀,并鼓勵(lì)他們?yōu)閷?shí)現(xiàn)夢(mèng)想而努力奮斗,使之具備明確的學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)。本單元的主要功能結(jié)構(gòu)有:What is your dream? I want/hope to be a / an and Did you have a dream when you were young? Yes. I wanted / hoped to be a / an ... and ...要求學(xué)生能熟記本單元的新授詞匯,能理解并熟練使用本單元的功能語(yǔ)句進(jìn)行會(huì)話,并完成相關(guān)的語(yǔ)用活動(dòng)。

課程導(dǎo)入(Leading In)
(1)課前問(wèn)答Part A Warming-up: Ask and answer
1. 教師借助本部分的對(duì)話示范,挑選三四個(gè)學(xué)生進(jìn)行問(wèn)答,復(fù)習(xí)已學(xué)過(guò)的職業(yè)詞匯:
T: What is your father?
S1: He is a driver / police officer /...
T: What does your mother do?
S1: She is a teacher / nurse / reporter / ...
2. 請(qǐng)學(xué)生結(jié)合實(shí)際情況就彼此家人的工作自由會(huì)話。
(2)新課導(dǎo)入
教師檢查學(xué)生的會(huì)話情況,并繼續(xù)話題,逐步引人新課。
S1: What’s your father?
S2: He is a doctor.
T: Your father is a doctor, so do you want to be a doctor?
S2: No. (根據(jù)學(xué)生的回答教師隨機(jī)發(fā)問(wèn)。如果回答是Yes. 教師可以總結(jié)為:Well. You want to be a doctor.)
T: What do you want to be then?
S2:1 want to be a singer / an actor /... (引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回答)
(1)課前熱身Part A Warming-up: Think and circle
課件出示本部分的圖片,帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生快速說(shuō)出每幅圖片中的職業(yè),學(xué)生容易忘記或混淆的,需要多重復(fù)幾遍。之后盡可能多地使用本節(jié)課將要學(xué)習(xí)到的語(yǔ)言知識(shí),采訪個(gè)別學(xué)生,其間可通過(guò)肢體語(yǔ)言幫助學(xué)生理解,逐步導(dǎo)入新課。
T: Boys and girls, we will have an English class meeting today. Let’s talk about your future. What do you want to be? What would you like to be in the future? Circle the picture, please.(讓學(xué)生圈出各自理想中的職業(yè))
OK. What do you want to be, S1? Can you tell us?
S1: Yes. I want to be a scientist.(引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回答)
T: Sounds great.(豎起大拇指夸學(xué)生) Would you like to be a scientist and study the stars?
S1: Yes. I would like to be a scientist. / I would like to study the stars.
T: What would you like to be, S2?
S2:I would like to be ...
結(jié)合學(xué)生對(duì)語(yǔ)言知識(shí)的運(yùn)用情況與學(xué)生進(jìn)行自由地交流,也可以幫助學(xué)生回答,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生盡量回答完整,并盡可能多地重復(fù)would you like ...和課文中將要出現(xiàn)的語(yǔ)句,加深學(xué)生的理解。之后,讓學(xué)生根據(jù)圈選結(jié)果進(jìn)行會(huì)話。
(1)新課展示Part A Let’s learn
1. 教授詞組study the stars, land on the moon, travel around the world, become a tour guide和go to college。
教師借助課件和圖片,講述“我的夢(mèng)想”,盡可能真實(shí)地將五個(gè)詞組串起來(lái)。以下內(nèi)容可供教師參考:
(1)課件展示句型I wanted to ...并做陳述:
T: when I was 12.I wanted to be a scientist. I liked little stars very much. I watched the little stars in the sky and wondered what they are. I wanted to study the stars.課件同步呈現(xiàn)短語(yǔ)study the stars和圖片。
(2) T: I wanted to study the stars. I wanted to fly up to the sky. I wanted to land on the moon.
課件呈現(xiàn)航天員登上月球的圖片,引出詞組land on the moon,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生先發(fā)好land的音,并記住意思“落地、著陸”,從而記住整個(gè)詞組。
(3) T: When I was sixteen,I hoped to become a tour guide because I hoped to travel around Shanxi Province, and I hoped to travel around the world.
課件中在wanted旁邊出現(xiàn)hoped,以示意思相近。
課件出示導(dǎo)游圖片,教師也可手拿旅行社的旗子幫助學(xué)生理解,課件出示所在省份的著名景點(diǎn)和相應(yīng)表達(dá),繼而呈現(xiàn)詞組travel around the world。領(lǐng)讀幾遍,并鼓勵(lì)加以運(yùn)用,如:
travel around China / the USA / Australia / the countries in the southeast
(4) T: When I was 18, I wanted to go to college.
課件同步呈現(xiàn)某一知名師范大學(xué)的背景和go to college短語(yǔ)。
T: I wanted to go to college because I wanted to be a teacher.
2. 帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生再次回顧自己不同年齡段的夢(mèng)想,進(jìn)行這五個(gè)詞組的學(xué)習(xí)。學(xué)生跟讀,并嘗試用I want to ... 練習(xí)、鞏固這五個(gè)詞組。教師在確保大部分學(xué)生已經(jīng)掌握了五個(gè)詞組之后,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生根據(jù)實(shí)際情況更真實(shí)地表述各自的夢(mèng)想,如:
S1: I want to become a police officer.
S2:1 want to travel around Beijing.
S3:1 want to go to Tsinghua College (University).
(可以適當(dāng)為學(xué)生講解這兩個(gè)單詞的區(qū)別,讓學(xué)生有所了解)
S4: I want to study the...
教師可結(jié)合學(xué)生的回答,與他們談?wù)摳嚓P(guān)于理想的話題,在拉近師生間距離的同時(shí)有效延伸課本知識(shí)。
3. 教授詞組join the National Team
課件呈現(xiàn)姚明進(jìn)人國(guó)家隊(duì)的圖片,并用He wanted to join the National Team. He wanted to join the Basketball Team of China. 幫助學(xué)生理解National Team的意思。
在確保學(xué)生能順利說(shuō)出短語(yǔ)之后,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生用更豐富的語(yǔ)言表述其夢(mèng)想。
S1: I want to join the National Swimming Team.
S2:I want to land on Mars. (Mars之前沒(méi)有the,教師可用repeat的方式糾正)
(2)鞏固活動(dòng)
1. 教師播放Let’s learn部分的錄音,讓學(xué)生邊看圖邊跟讀本部分的詞匯。
2. 采用學(xué)生領(lǐng)讀、組內(nèi)互助學(xué)習(xí)等方式拼讀短語(yǔ)。
(1)新課展示Part A: Let’s talk
1. 承接上一話題,課件呈現(xiàn)師范大學(xué)的背景,教師講解生詞dream, come true幫助學(xué)生理解:
T: When I was 18, I wanted to go to college because I had a dream. I like English and children very much, so I wanted to be an English teacher. I wanted to help my students realize their dreams. I studied hard, and then 1 went to college. I made my dream come true. You see, I’m a teacher now.
板書并領(lǐng)讀單詞dream,繼續(xù)講解
T: Can you guess my dream when I was 12?
課件出示我12歲的照片和study the stars的圖片。
T: I wanted to be a scientist. I wanted to study the stars.
What’s your dream, S1?(課件出示課題,并板書,觀看學(xué)生的反應(yīng),如果不懂,可以用What do you want to be in the future?再提問(wèn)一遍,讓他們逐漸明白這兩句話意思相近)
S1:I want to be a scientist.(引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回答)
T: Sounds great. But it’s not easy to be a scientist.(用手勢(shì)環(huán)繞全班所有的人,并搖頭) The dream is very difficult to come true.(面露難色) You must study hard.(握拳做努力狀) Maybe you will make your dream come true one day, and you will become a scientist.(用肯定、激勵(lì)的眼神看著學(xué)生)
板書并領(lǐng)讀短語(yǔ)come true。
T: What’s your dream, S1?
S2: I want to be a ...
T: Why?
S2: Because ...(根據(jù)學(xué)生應(yīng)用英語(yǔ)的能力與學(xué)生進(jìn)行交流,也可以幫助學(xué)生回答,為學(xué)生提供更豐富的話題,并為后續(xù)的教學(xué)做鋪墊)
T: Boys and girls, we will have an English class meeting today. We will talk about the topic “Our Dreams”.
向?qū)W生出示英語(yǔ)版本的課程表,注意突出顯示課程安排中的“班會(huì)”課,幫助學(xué)生理解class meeting的意思。然后板書本節(jié)課的話題Our Dreams,幫助學(xué)生理解talk about的大致意思。
2. 出示Let’s talk部分的掛圖,介紹新課:
T: This is Wu Chen. She had a class meeting today. They also talked about their dreams at the class meeting. Let’s try to know Wu Chen’s dream.
(1) 課件出示問(wèn)題:What’s Wu Chen’s dream? What’s her father’s dream? 然后播放Let’s talk的教學(xué)視頻。要求學(xué)生認(rèn)真聽(tīng),認(rèn)真看,并在看完對(duì)話視頻后,回答問(wèn)題。教師通過(guò)學(xué)生的回答情況,了解學(xué)生對(duì)對(duì)話的理解情況。
適時(shí)進(jìn)行情感滲透,告訴學(xué)生為了實(shí)現(xiàn)自己遠(yuǎn)大的理想必須付出必要的努力,從現(xiàn)在開(kāi)始要刻苦學(xué)習(xí),為實(shí)現(xiàn)自己的理想而奮斗。
3. 整體回顧對(duì)話,全面理解,并進(jìn)行聽(tīng)說(shuō)練習(xí),可以以兩人對(duì)話(Pair work)的形式重點(diǎn)練習(xí)功能句:
S1: Did you have a dream when you were young?
S2: Yes. I wanted / hoped to be a / an ... and ...
鞏固活動(dòng)
1) 播放Let’s talk部分的錄音,要求學(xué)生模仿其語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào)跟讀對(duì)話。
2)課件呈現(xiàn)如下內(nèi)容,講解知識(shí)點(diǎn):

3)最后讓學(xué)生嘗試復(fù)述對(duì)話并進(jìn)行對(duì)活表演。
