Introduction to Ankang University
Ankang University (AKU) is a provincial public university, which is located in Ankang City in southern Shaanxi Province of China. It has two campuses-the South Campus and the North Campus, covering a total area of about 0.67 million square meters. The present AKU consists of thirteen schools offering 41 undergraduate majors with 10 major categories of disciplines: law, education, humanities, science, engineering, agriculture, management, art, economics and medicine. Requirements for Applicants
Applicants with doctorate in relevant specialties are invited for all the vacancies shown in the above chart. Also, as a successful applicant:
1. You should abide by the Constitution and laws of China with sound professional ethics;
2. You are expected to fit the needs of personnel cultivation and academic specialty development of AKU;
3.Your age needs to be under 40 (Outstanding applicants: under 45);
4.You are expected to possess high-quality academic achievements with great potential.
Preference will be given to applicants with post-doctor research experience or the academic titles like professor/associate professor.
Benefits
1. Setting-in allowance(according to the classification of applicants): RMB ￥250,000-1,000,000;
2. Start-up research funds (according to the classification of applicants):
PhD of Natural Sciences:RMB ￥100,000-150,000;
PhD of Humanities and Social Sciences: RMB ￥50,000-100,000
3.Academic titles: according to the classification, applicants of different categories can apply foracademic titlesrespectively (distinguished professor, distinguished associate professor, or receiving associate professor’s salary at the first three years working in AKU);
4. Living allowance:RMB ￥600/month;
5. Office facilities: An office equipped with a computer will be arranged;
6. Housing subsidy: RMB ￥76,800(annual installment payment for 8 years;
RMB￥9,600/year); providing a 130m2apartment from AKU for purchase in cost price.
7. Employment Contract:The employment contract is formulated according to the relevant laws and regulations of employment contract of foreign cultural and educational experts in China.
8. Other relevant policies: AKU will offer appropriate jobs to the spouses with adequate qualifications; for those who fail to have adequate qualifications, AKU will provide positions with social insurances.
